New York City Upper West Side
The resident of this New York City apartment wanted to create three different areas in a big open space that was cohesive and maximized the flow of the room. Since it was a rental, we wanted to keep interior decor affordable, and selected pieces that were versatile and could move with the tenant easily, if need be. Pieces that took up little visual space like acrylic bar stools in the kitchen and a media/storage unit that mimicked the built-in cabinets under the windows were selected. Large area rugs created different areas: living room, sitting area and dining area. Pops of color were incorporated with art and accessories.
